HTS is seeking an experienced and dedicated Principal Engineer to join the Employee Applications team. As a Principal Engineer, we seek a self-motivated individual who excels in driving initiatives, leading teams, and possesses hands-on expertise in AWS serverless services and DevOps practices.
You'll lead a team of skilled developers, driving projects from concept to completion and ensuring that our software solutions are robust, scalable, and cutting-edge.
Technical Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.
- Hands on development across the entire technology stack, including front-end (HTML, CSS and ReactJS) and back-end (Java and Python) technologies.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and CloudWatch
- Implement and manage DevOps processes, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
- Work hand-in-hand with a diverse team: from fellow developers to product managers to UX designers and scrummasters, ensuring the best results.
- Dive deep into existing applications, optimizing them for performance, security, and more.
- Embrace agile methodologies, using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow to keep projects streamlined and efficient.
