Job Title: Principal Software Engineer, Loan IQ Development
Work Setting: 100% Remote, work anywhere in the US
Schedule requirements: Willing and able to work EST business hours
Project Expectations: 40-HR work week / 18+ month project / Contractor
Compensation: $105 - 124/+HR (Depending on work and industry experience)
Time to Hire: ASAP
Job Summary: Managing and supporting an agile IT team with full-cycle development; design, build, testing, and deployment. Able to maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Ensure the best practices, quality, and responsiveness of software applications. A mastering use of existing and emerging technology platforms and software. Be innovative, an architect, and deliver technical products for the client to remain current and advancing in the industry.
Loan IQ Developer work responsibilities "At-a-Glance":
- Effectively manage autonomously technical teams and developing and supporting Loan IQ for a financial organization.
- 'Concept to Launch' technical build outs of product/product enhancements
- Support Loan IQ systems and development on a global basis.
- Manage the integration of Loan IQ to enhance banking project demands.
- Provide metrics and reporting updates to IT departments, internal business management and external client customers.
- Integrate Loan IQ with other systems, enhancing features for company business goals.
- Will be responsible to manage multiple projects and complex systems analysis
- Coordinate with internal users and product vendor regarding technical issues or needs.
- Collaboration abilities to work with IT department members, prioritize work expectations, and time management
- Maintain the functionality and availability of Loan IQ system, diagnose issues, apply patches and upgrades.
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues and provide problem solving options for project quality.
- Creative responses to solve complex problems, architect solutions, and write high-performance software.
Required Works Skills and Education:
- BS degree in an IT field and 7 years of Loan IQ systems analysis and development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combination of 10 years higher education and/or technical development experience
- Loan IQ development and systems is required
- Java API (Application Programming Interfaces) and/or SDK (Software Development Kit)
- Experience working with internal business leadership groups, external client-customers, and stakeholders
- Effective written and verbal business communication skills
- Agile Methodology
