What you will enjoy doing*

• You will provide information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the proposal and project teams with regard to all aspects of Process Engineering
• Be the Lead Process Engineer for complex and first-of-a-kind projects and will oversee and approve the work of other engineers on projects or proposals. You can also work on multiple smaller projects simultaneously
• In addition you will perform process simulations, develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's) and Heat and Material Balances (H&MB's), markup existing P&IDs and create new P&IDs, calculate plant recoveries and utility requirements
• Propose and develop competitive technical solutions to meet customer requirements during Proposals
• Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, separators, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets
• As well you will participate in HAZOP studies, generate or approve process safety relevant documents (SIL allocation, Safety Requirements Specification, Critical Safety Systems amongst others)
• Take part in Control System Simulations
• Assist in plant start-up activities
• As a technical expert, you will take part in Technology meetings with global counterparts to get resolution on complex problems, discuss about new guidelines or design criteria or any other critical topic related to ASU process design or operation

What makes you great

• You will have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 15+ years of industrial gases experience, Cryogenic Air Separation Unit Process Engineering preferred, including design and/or operation of Cryogenic Air Separation Unit gas facilities
• Strong knowledge of material balance, process controls, process safety concepts, and process and instrumentation diagram development
• You will also have strong knowledge of one or more process simulators such as Optisim and/or Unisim
• The ability to anticipate business challenges and issues and recommend solutions that address current issues or ideas that can have a strategic impact
• The ability to conceive, develop, and evaluate plans and criteria for solving a variety of unique and complex engineering problems
• To be detail orientated, creative and innovative
• Additionally you need to communicate effectively to all levels of management
• Have advanced level skills with Microsoft Office software and Windows Operating system
