As part of TSG, the TSG Production Services team

  • Maintains a secure and stable production environment for the Bank and Clients around the globe (including Database Network, Messaging, Voice and Video technology.)
  • Monitors the Cyber Technology Operations Center (CTOC) 24x7x365 for real-time observation of the technology estate.

Role Description

Lead the research, development, and the enterprise-wide integration and implementation of new and emerging technologies. Implement and support the global network environment and systems for large/complex financial networks. Design/deploy inter-network solutions including the physical and logical configuration documentation and procedures. Must have an in-depth/expert understanding of data center and enterprise core architecture. Apply technical training, experience, leadership and knowledge in order to assist customers, partners and other teams in the support of the network and deliverables. Use specialized tools, techniques and procedures to identify and understand various product problems and to select appropriate actions to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform network design, testing, implementation, documentation, and on-going support for data center and enterprise projects.
  • Act as subject matter expert resource and resident lead/expert on Network Infrastructure and architecture.
  • Provides technical project management for initial network builds and expansions.
  • Participate in teleconferences and in person meetings for designing, implementing, testing or troubleshooting support of networks.
  • Research and evaluate network solutions based on corporate standards and business requirements.
  • Perform peer reviews of configurations and design for data center and campus projects.
  • Assess situations and perform proactive analytics for change in order to minimize issues before they evolve.
  • Work with vendors and support experts on efforts of continuous improvement of the environment by recommending / implementing infrastructure solutions and options that are of value add and cost effective for the business.
  • Document, update and maintain all technical diagrams, procedures and processes related to supporting the network and all associated infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and implement off business hour deployments of network infrastructure at data center and campus locations.
  • Design, configure and support of data center fabric and spine and leaf architecture.
  • Provide tier 3 escalation support for the global network.

Required Qualifications

Requires extensive experience in the design, installation, configuration, performance tuning, and maintenance of campus and spine and leaf infrastructure. In-dept/expert understanding and proficiency in all cisco data center and enterprise designs and best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
