Principal MES Consultant – Professional Services (Location: Anaheim, CA)

Principal MES Consultant use their industry background, domain knowledge, and knowledge of TrakSYS platform to facilitate business design workshops, gather requirements, provide expert guidance, and design solutions to our manufacturing clients. Principal MES Consultant can understand client requirements, evangelize benefits of TrakSYS platform, and recommend best practice use of our software. This is a key role in contributing to the growth of Parsec Professional Services.

Responsibilities

Scope definition and solutioning

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys to gain an in-depth understanding of the client's current manufacturing processes and systems. • Collaborate with the client to define the target state for their MES system, considering their unique business requirements.
• • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and target states and propose effective solutions and a program roadmap.
• • Deliver clear and well-documented scope definitions to guide scope estimations and project implementations. Assist and advise implementation teams as required to ensure project success

Sales and Marketing Support

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and provide critical insights during sales and pre-sales activities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the value of our MES solutions.
• Contribute your expertise to marketing initiatives, asset creation, and content development to promote our MES services.

Solutioning and Standardization

• Lead efforts to standardize discovery artifacts, ensuring consistency and efficiency across sub-verticals and projects.
• Identify best practices and tailor solutions to specific industry sub-verticals to meet unique manufacturing needs.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in MES consulting and solutioning within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of MES systems, and manufacturing processes in the areas of production, inventory management, quality control, and maintenance.
• Functional experience in MES tools or other Manufacturing related software. Prior experience with TrakSYS is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Implementation for different manufacturing industries and experience with MES-ERP integrations are considered a plus.
