Role Summary:
The Principal Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be a credible medical/scientific field-based expert on disease areas and Cerevel molecules, within an assigned geography. The Principal MSL serves as the primary communicator of scientific information to external thought leaders and clinicians, as well as a conduit of information back to in-house cross-functional stakeholders. Depending on product life cycles, Principal MSLs may support clinical development, launch planning, and serve as subject matter experts on a variety of other cross-functional special projects such as sales training and on-boarding partner to new employees. The Principal demonstrates mastery of the MSL function, operates independently and serves as an informal and formal mentor to peers. In addition to field-based accountabilities, the Principal MSL is expected to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, elevating the MSL teams performance and demonstrates inter-departmental impact.
