Position Specific Description
Specific responsibilities of this attorney position include the following:
  • Manage Litigation Holds from beginning to end of the life cycle of a matter, which includes drafting the hold letters and instructions, coordinating with Information Technology to gather and preserve relevant documents, and communicating with attorneys and employees regarding various stages of the litigation hold
  • Provide support with electronic discovery for litigation cases
  • Research and stay abreast of all legal developments impacting the litigation hold process and electronic discovery
  • Assist the registered agent by managing service of process for all legal process that comes to the multiple corporate entities. This includes tracking subpoenas and summonses and working on responses to subpoenas
  • Running and preparing regular reports for litigations holds and service of process

• Provides written and oral legal advice to clients
• Anticipates and guards against legal risks involving the organization
• Works to ensure budget compliance and avoids the need for outside counsel
• Ensures disclosure of potentially material legal issues to senior leadership
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Member in Good Standing of State Bar
• High School Grad / GED
• Juris Doctorate
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 2+ years
