What you'll be doing...

• Working across multiple teams to support the ongoing growth and network evolution required to support next generation wireless technologies including 5th Generation networks.
• Filling critical needs in the annual Plan Of Record Budget creation and management as well as day to day technical lead for the overall Mountain Plains Global Network and Technology organization.
• Implementing planning as it pertains to the ongoing legacy EBH to eNSE network evolution.
• Having a primary core transport design and implementation focus for markets in Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.
• Leading automation efforts as it pertains to CIQ creation including VLAN, IP Addressing and port management for legacy Ethernet Backhaul and eNSE networks.
• Leading responsibilities for Intelligent Edge Network Hub planning adhering to HQ design standards and capacity planning.

Where you'll be working...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
• Five or more years of experience in Transport Design to include large network evolution and implementation.
• Five or more years of experience in Budget Management as it pertains to network capital planning.
• Knowledge of all industry accepted routing protocols as it applies to transport design.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of Cisco, Nokia, Ciena and Fujitsu platforms and it pertains to L2/L3 network design
• Knowledge of DWDM/CWDM protocols as it pertains to network capacity management
• Knowledge of Layer 3 and Layer 2 routing as it pertains to network migration and evolution
• Knowledge of IPV4 and IPV6 routed protocols as it pertains to network migration
• Knowledge of Ericsson Radio Access Networks as in pertains to distributed timing and transport network
• Knowledge of capacity planning for large distributed networks including growth forecast planning
• Knowledge of eNSE SR network architecture as it pertains to migration and implementation
• Good understanding of 4G/5G spectral capacity requirements as it pertains to transport backhaul planning
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Clear and concise communication skills.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $105,000 and $195,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
