Looking to make a change in 2024? Our client is seeking an exceptional Principal Engineer who has experience building highly scalable Mobile Applications and front-end web apps, can lead projects, and collaborate with multiple teams. You will have technical ownership of their Mobile Applications, React and React Native codebases, and the React and React Native/mobile areas.
Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, this is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing, well-funded, company in the construction sector. The engineering team is remote-first, spanning every time zone in the United States.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Contributing to problem-solving in and direction-setting of the engineering department.
- Exerting technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
- Driving continuous improvement of the performance and quality of their front-end web and Mobile Applications.
- Driving continuous improvement of architecture, codebases, standards, and technical practices across their front-end web and Mobile Applications.
- Leading by example and modelling the behavior you want to see in teams you engage with.
Your qualifications must include:
- Strong experience with React and/or React Native as well as native mobile development.
- Experience delivering highly scalable mobile and web products to a large customer base.
- Proven track record of architecting complex, scalable solutions.
- Proven track record of coordinating technical decisions and strategy between multiple teams to successful outcomes.
