Principal Cadd Designer

Stanley Consultants is seeking a part-time Principal Designer to work in our Muscatine, IA office. Primarily functions as a graphics Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) roll on various projects that include drawings as deliverables. 

Essential Duties:

Perform duties as project reviewer:

• Complete Independent Technical Reviews (ITRs), Third Party Reviews (TPRs), and internal reviews as needed.
• Check for inconsistencies between drawings, specifications, and Basis of Design documents.
• Has a solid understanding of design and drafting techniques and a functional familiarity with engineering terminology.
• Assist department and discipline members on their designs by providing guidance.
• Manage a budget and schedule for the assigned task.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Mechanical/Electrical/Structural/Civil graphics.
• Perform review and design efforts with little supervision.
