Have you ever wanted to be part of a team who is building industry changing technology? Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Project Kuiper is looking for experienced, self-starter Senior Business Development Manager to drive adoption of Kuiper broadband and additional services with Mobile Network Operators. This is an exciting opportunity to influence and implement the Project Kuiper Business Development strategy with Mobile Network Operators. This position is located in Redmond, WA but also open to candidates in Arlington, VA.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
• Influence strategy for Project Kuiper with specific focus on Mobile Network Operators
• A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone.
• An effective multi-tasker who navigates a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with grace and efficiency.
• Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships across all levels and disciplines, receptive to feedback and input from others, and quick to apply changes.
• Work with internal subject matter experts to gather information, synthesize business and technical concepts, build strategic business metrics, and write original content that drives decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
• Experience working in start-up mode building products and services from the ground up.
• Implement business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders
• Manage complex contract negotiations and complex business requirements and activities which deliver results.
• Adept at thinking strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
• Action-oriented, detailed programmatic approach to implement complex programs and strategic initiatives with customers
• Consistently exceeds key performance metrics and Delivers Results

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- • 7+ years of experience with Mobile Network Operators
- • Extensive experience with Satellite communication or Satellite Operations.
- • Experience defining and driving complex program initiatives with customers
- • Be able to understand and articulate the business value & technical overview.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $254,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
