Requirements:
- Active California Physician license
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Primary Care (adult) as a Physician within the last three years.
- Specialty Services: In addition to the above requirements, Physicians who are requested to work in specialized areas such as Emergency Medicine, Surgery, etc., must also have at least two years (2) years of experience within the last 3 years providing patient care within that setting and possess any required certificates.
- Obstetrics/Gynecology: Physicians who will be staffed at female institutions/facilities must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last five (5) years providing obstetric and gynecological nursing or patient care services in a healthcare setting.
- Clinical competencies must be up-to-date and validated for the specific area in which the Physician will be assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of the Institution/Facility CEO/CME or their designee, the Physician will deliver services within the scope of practice for Physician services, adhering to Institution/Facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
