Form of workLOCATION: This is a Remote Work position. The selected candidate may reside and perform work in any of the following states: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas or Florida. No relocation benefit will be offered for this position.
Basic Purpose:
The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while executing time sensitive deliverables is required.
Candidate will work closely with Sumitomo's Engineering, Purchasing and Sales team to generate pricing.
Support of company goals and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be generating pricing for wire harnesses utilizing defined pricing models.
- Manage pricing for all wire harnesses utilizing Sumitomo's internal databases.
- Develops detail quote response for customer RFQ.
- Work as part of a team to help secure future business.
- Analyze the cost structure of both current and new products to develop strategies to improve financial results.
- Support internal cost reduction activities.
- Assist in the development of department standards and procedures.
Minimum Position Specifications:
- Ability to read and understand North American Automotive OEM Wire Harness drawings and specifications.
- Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task and have great attention to detail.
- Bachelor degree in Business preferred, 3-5 years progressive professional pricing experience will be considered as well.
- Good knowledge of MS-Office applications is a basic requirement, excellent knowledge of Excel is a must.
- Demonstrates ability to clearly communicate both internally and externally.
