Pricing Specialist

Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP) invites you to join our proud team in Carlisle, PA. FSIP manufacturers and remanufactures electronics for numerous electric vehicle and equipment markets.

We are looking for a Pricing Specialist. This full-time, day shift position is located at our facility in Carlisle, PA. A successful candidate would enjoy working with complex data and examining industry standards as well as pricing strategies to determine and set pricing. They will conduct research and learn the history of the products and trends along with setting or adjusting pricing to meet the company sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities:

• Research and implement company-wide pricing strategies.
• Gather, interpret, and use data to develop actionable pricing steps.
• Utilize various systems and resources to complete a systematic pricing review.
• Maintain appropriate pricing for all customer groups, contract pricing, and promotional pricing.
• Review cost rolls to implement price increases, where needed.
• Determine pricing for additional products added within multiple product lines.
• Provide process improvement recommendations.
• Distribute pricing files to customers.
• Work with parent company to communicate and align pricing.
• Manage customer base pricelists.
• Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability.
• Track customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.
• Applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
• Forecast revenue and market share based on market trends, production costs, profit margins, and sales volumes.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.
• Keep informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.
• Create project plans that outline the tasks, timelines, resources required, and analyze the data gathered for the project.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required and a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of prior pricing experience.
• A natural aptitude for mathematics and statistics with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to think analytically and strategically.
• Ability to solve complex problems that involve competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced excel skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team oriented with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve departmental and company objectives.
