We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in energy, technology, and a passion to deliver products for a growing company.


The Manager of Pricing Applications will be the point of contact for all Departments issues to be vetted out prior to reaching out to Pricing Application Support Team. Manager of Pricing Applications will also be responsible for communicating between All Departments to Pricing Application Support Team if an issue is considered Tier 2 or not able to solve the Tier 1 issue. In addition, to working with Pricing Application Support Team on the backlog items of SES, coordinating Pricing Application Release schedules, UAT for Release, and helping gathering requirements for enhancements that may be needed for each department; along with any Market changes that may occur.


Reporting into the Director of Retail Structuring, Retail Pricing, the role requires self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain documentation on supported products and products options.
  • Create and maintain documentation on use of Pricing Application in support of Shell business processes.
  • Leverage (1) & (2) for creating baseline UAT cases for testing configuration and release changes.
  • Update contractual documents for legal and market related changes.
  • Manage the ad-hoc reporting function within Pricing Application and deploy tailored reports to users.
  • Employ strong change control principles while coordinating changes to products or business process.
  • Gather requirements for product or process changes across all departments to ensure changes fulfill front/mid/back-office needs.
  • Maintain Pricing Application and Data Analyzer access (account expiration, password resets, Shell network issues, new user setup or permission changes).
  • Monitor and verify forward curve update accuracy and completeness; manage change control process around changes to forward curves or updates to trading spreadsheets.
  • Assist users with HU data questions (verify that EDI data has not yet been returned, review error messages and correct issues, manage import min month exceptions).
  • Update POR/Tax rates.
  • Assist users with opportunity questions (data acquisition issue review, quote issue review)
  • Assist users with billing activities (validate SMT data, reprocess meters missing SMT, review invoice errors, assign contract when not identified, curves missing)
  • Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Light SQL and Coding
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to provide timely and accurate data analysis.

LOCATION & WORK SCHEDULE

  • Required to be in-person in Houston, TX through a hybrid workplace environment
