We are actively recruiting a Pressure Washing Supervisor. This position is responsible for Pressure Washing assigned transit locations (Bus shelters & Rail platforms) along with supervising one or two Supported Workers and sometimes Flaggers and the Workers’ safety throughout the shift. The individual that holds this position is often reassigned as a Policing Supervisor (Policing is ‘outdoors custodial’, i.e. littler pick-up, trash can liner replacement, sweeping, cleaning benches, glass, etc.) due to seasonal constraints or other contract obligations.

What you’ll be doing:
- As a working supervisor, demonstrate and train on the techniques used in Pressure Washing and policing work, and set the pace for the workers.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Supported Workers’ rights and dignity are protected, and that they have maximum opportunities to fully participate as a member of the Policing department.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individual plans for assigned workers and maintain pertinent documentation electronically.
- Ensuring contract requirements are completed within the allotted time.
- Submit manifests, and other required electronic data daily, and other documentation as required.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and all equipment, reporting problems or damage immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma /GED required.
- Related maintenance experience required (i.e. custodial/landscape). Commercial Pressure washing experience preferred.
- A valid Maryland driver’s license required. Must meet agency’s requirements for approved MVA record.
- Must be able to drive a large 6-wheel Pressure Washing truck, requiring a DOT.
- Demonstrated industry standard knowledge in janitorial techniques.
- Experience with individuals with disabilities helpful.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push, pull, and carry a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies. Requires good physical coordination and stamina.
- All work is outdoors and year-round. Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Work locations are often in parking lots, roadways, and rail systems.
- Will be required to work evenings, weekends or holidays as required by work schedule, (including snow removal), or training.
- Must maintain DOT driving status.
