Pressure Tester

DME, Inc. is an expansion joint and braided hose manufacturer. We are currently seeking a full-time Pressure Test Operator to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities -

Reading and following shop travelers, drawings, work instructions and company procedures to set-up and operate various testing equipment in order to pressure test assemblies within customer specifications using air and water. Prior experience with tools such as wrenches and impact wrenches required. Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and keep work area clean and organized. Be alert to the dangers of dealing with pressures involved in testing. Document and record test results. Have safe work habits. Capable of filling vessel safely to vent out air in hydro. Perform task within the time allocated in the production schedule and in accordance with quality requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• A High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer experience is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of piping assemblies and different end fittings preferred.
• Prior experience reading pneumatic and hydraulic pressure gages is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire work shift.
• Occasional lifting of 10-50 pounds is required.
