Press Operator - Flexographic M-Th 06:00AM to 4:30PM

Job description -

• Reports to Production Manager
• Consults with Manager on daily schedule and production assignments
• Stock press with adequate supplies to meet production goals
• Set-up and operate Flexographic Press to run jobs
• Maintain open lines of communication with all departments
• Resolves issues with tooling, plates, inks, print cylinders as needed
• Shuffle work orders as needed to maintain on-time deliveries per demands
• Maintain logs of previous jobs and issues – other paperwork as needed
• Maintain excellent quality standards
• Maintain daily housekeeping using 5S standards
• Safety focus for work free of safety incidents – Follow all PPE policy and procedures
• Follows all GMP Standards

Requirements:

· Flexographic Press Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

· Basic computer knowledge is needed

· Detailed oriented along with excellent organizational skills

· Work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability.

• Fast paced environment
• Must be able to troubleshoot
• Must possess the skills necessary to learn detailed aspects of job
• Excellent attendance is a vital part of this position
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs chest high on a daily basis
• Standing a large percentage of the work day
