Press Mechanic/Machinist

The Press Mechanic / Machinist provide maintenance, repairs and installations concerning Houston Chronicle’s fixed-plant newspaper production equipment and its ancillary infrastructure systems to ensure optimal, reliable, and safe operating performance. Production equipment and its ancillary infrastructure systems include, but are not limited to, presses, reels, folders, inserters, conveyors, hopper loaders, stackers, vertical lift units, and water treatment system.
