Press Machine Operator

What would you be doing?

You would take printed labels, cut the shapes out in them with our presses, and then put them into smaller rolls. You would be growing with a rapidly growing company. You would also be cross-trained.

We are a custom label manufacturer looking for a Press Machine Operator who takes great pride in their work to join our team, and help take our company to the next level.

Description:

We manufacture flexographic and digital labels printed from an HP indigo, and we are looking for a die-cutter operator to finish the labels. They will be breaking larger rolls into smaller ones on a tabletop and other machines and placing the rolls in boxes. We want a die-cutter operator who can operate a Delta ModTech label finisher or a rewinder. This die-cutter operator will be responsible for operating the machine and finishing our digital printed labels.

This die cutter operator candidate must be able to fully set up and break down the label finisher, as well as control and maintain quality specifications during die cutting operations. Die cutter operators must be able to communicate and work well with others. The finishing system uses UV coating and Laminations.

Must-Have:

• One year experience on a finisher (Delta or ABG)
• Basic problem-solving skills and be self-motivated
• Basic math skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Experience in operating mechanical/ electromechanical equipment.
• Understanding of the basic process of prepress.
• Basic personal computer skills, including electronic mail and word processing.
• Willingness to be a cross-functional employee that can work with multiple teams within the organization to achieve success.
• Good people skills

• Able to lift at least 75-100lbs repeatedly
• Janitorial (light clean up duties)
• Machine maintenance.
• Complete other printing tasks
• Good with inks/colors
• Inspecting labels
• Loading
• Mixing inks
• Cleaning ink pans
• Delivering to our clients

SHIFT TIMES: 2 Available Shifts

A Shift: Sunday to Every Other Wednesday

B Shift: Every Other Wednesday to Saturday

Hours of Operation:

- Weekday: 12Hr Shift from 5am to 5:30pm

- Saturday: 10Hr Shift from 5am to 3:30pm

- Sunday: 10 Hr Shift from 7am to 5:30pm
