We are looking for Press Brake Operators to start in the Kenosha, WI Warehouse.
What Will You Do?
- Form parts from cold rolled, stainless steel and aluminum, according to manufacturing procedures and scheduling requirements
- Set up and operation of Amada Press Brakes (RG, HFB, HDS, and FBD) and Safan
- Select, load, and install correct tooling; maintain tool inventory: keep tools clean and orderly
- Determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Stage completed product on skids
- Work from the live schedule, verbal and written instruction, bills of material, routing, samples, blueprints, and control plans
- Perform quality inspections of parts to produce products that exceed customer's expectations
- Assist in the efficient flow of raw materials routed to the Track as well as the flow of materials in down-stream processes of parts; Utilize space in an efficient manner
- Assist in down-stream operations as needed, depending on flow and workload Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- 2+ years of Press Brake Set-up and operating experience, preferably with Amada HFB-FBD equipment or Safan
- Previous metal fabrication background
- Dimensional measuring and shop math competence
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Possess high caliber of quality control; strong skills in observing/ inspecting own work Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training, general direction, and other issues with co-workers and supervisor
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Must be able to work overtime, as required
- Ability to work in other areas in FAB as workload is needed
2nd shift:
3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday - Friday, (OT and Saturday are based on production needs)
Pay: 21.50$/h - 24.50$/h
