Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Press Brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal in accordance with provided blueprints and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and work orders to determine machine settings and required tooling.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to measure and inspect finished parts for quality assurance.
- Perform routine maintenance on Press Brake machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the production process.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating Press Brake machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and welding.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Effective use of hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and conversions.
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles is advantageous.
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
