This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday. The pay is $13 -15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications with incentive pay. The position is onsite at our center located: 4605 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL

The Preschool Teacherdevelops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children.

What You’ll Do:
•    Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
•    Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
•    Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
•    Follow all facility policies and state regulations
•    Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
What We Need from You:
•   High school Diploma or degree in related field of study required
•   DCF 45 hours Required
•   CDA Preferred
•  Willingness to obtain VPK Teacher credentials from DCF
•   Must clear a full DCF background check
•   At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience
•   CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teachers, and resolve parental concerns
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
•   Fluent in both English and Spanish is a Plus
