POSITION: PART TIME PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHER-PARAPROFESSIONAL

QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist the teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and enhance student learning.
SALARY: Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for classified positions for the 2023-2024 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Early Childhood Associate Degree or;
- Associate Degree or 60 College Credit Units and 12 Early Childhood College Credit Hours or Completion of an Early Childhood Training Program, or;
- High School Diploma/GED andPassed the ACT WorkKeys Silver Level Certification requirements - Applied Mathematics, score of 4, Graphic Literacy, score of 4 and Workplace Documents, score of 4 and 12 Early Childhood College Credit Hours or Completion of an Early Childhood Training Program
- Interpersonal skills in working with students, professional colleagues, administration, parents, and community
- Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation
- Good physical condition with ability to lift 50 pounds
