This role is based in our New York office, reports directly to the Head of Sales, North-America and will be supported closely by the Global Head of Presales. The Pre-Sales Consultant will work alongside our Global Presales team and closely collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to help progress deals through the stages of our sales processes, partnering with prospects to prove value and ensure our best in class platform is successfully sold.
Key Responsibilities
This role is based in our New York office, reports directly to the Head of Sales, North-America and will be supported closely by the Global Head of Presales. The Pre-Sales Consultant will work alongside our Global Presales team and closely collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to help progress deals through the stages of our sales processes, partnering with prospects to prove value and ensure our best in class platform is successfully sold.
Day to day activities include
• Preparing for and delivering tailored demos to prospects, clients and partners
• Running POV exercises end-to-end including process mapping and validation, baseline results, side by side comparisons and preparing final results, data, visuals to support the clients' business case
• Capturing and feeding back to product local requirements for consideration as part of the overall product roadmap and North America proposition
• Answering technical, functional, compliance, security and architecture questions about product for internal colleagues and customers
• Coordinating vendor assessment processes including security reviews to help compile answers promptly and liaise with technical colleagues where more in depth responses are required.
• Capturing, reflecting and documenting program scope during pre-sales engagement and effectively handling transition to post-sales
• Gathering competitor intelligence
• Completing RFIs/RFPs and helping prepare proposals and other supporting materials in the sales process.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will be an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant/Sales Engineer/Solutions Consultant or come from background of KYC/Customer Due Diligence and have an interest in working with a global leader in this field. A dynamic professional who works well individually and as part of a cross-departmental team environment, and enjoys fast pace, variety, problem solving and intensity of working for a scaling high-growth tech company, with a confident and authoritative influence founded in domain and technical knowledge. You will be comfortable in the role of a product expert for our platform including API, with the ability to deeply understand client challenges, enjoy delivering demonstrations and love wowing prospects!
  • Proven experience pre-sales for SaaS software solutions via UI and API
  • Experience delivering software for KYC, AML, CDD, Client Onboarding
    or worked in a regulatory environment
  • Subject matter expertise in; Financial Services, Financial Technology, SaaS platforms, including API
    Integrations
  • Technical qualifications or equivalent experience in
    engineering, computer science or related role.
  • Strong client facing experience with an ability to manage and challenge internal and external stakeholders (business and technical)
  • Capable of anticipating issues early and building strategies to mitigate or prevent
  • Demonstrated involvement with successful implementation of new technologies in financial service organisations
