Contractors must live at least 90 miles from the facility to qualify
Hours:40 hours/week Monday - Friday
Contract term: 26 weeks to perm

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Op/PACU team. As a Pre-Op/PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery.
Duties/Responsibilities 
Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition during the recovery phase
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth transition from the Pre-Op to the OR and the OR to PACU
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Adhere to medical care standards and protocols
Skills 
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience working with children in a healthcare setting, is preferred
Proficient in airway management techniques
Familiarity with ICU procedures and protocols
Competence in administering injections and other medical procedures
Prior experience in ambulatory surgical settings, is a plus.
