We are seeking a diligent and experienced Preoperative/Postoperative/ Nurse to join our team for office-based surgery. The Preoperative Nurse will play a crucial role in preparing patients for surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being throughout the preoperative/postoperative phase.

• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments, including medical history review, vital signs measurement, and patient education regarding surgical procedures.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about the surgical process.
• Document all preoperative/postoperative assessments and patient responses accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records.

• Current RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
