This position would ideally be located in our Des Moines, IA or Portland, ME offices.

As a Premium Audit Operations Adminyou'll support the proper handling of all Premium Audits in the group utilizing the Insurity platform. This will involve initiating and monitoring the mail audit process by assuring that proper letters are mailed, and received data that is attached to the audit, then, being assigned to the appropriate auditor. You'll compare information received from insureds to what was requested.  You will send out additional document letters and handle the incoming phone calls from insureds and agents. 

 

This role is critical because you're setting up the Premium Auditors for success!  Your ability to garner the key documents enable the Premium Auditors to focus on the actual audit.  You'll be setting the tone and ensuring a positive experience for the Insured (our clients).

We'll count on you to:

  • Manage the mail audit process in PATS up to the point where requested data is received and the audit is then assigned to the appropriate auditor.  Update PATS with current audit contact information
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions provided for navigation and effective use of Genesys policy system, Premium Audit Tracking System, Insurity, Berkley Billing system, and the BPMi/Insurity records systems, Reference Connect and other external site rating bureaus and other system supported tools. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines. 
  • Meet established goals while maintaining high levels of quality; manage the tasks to meet established company service standards.
  • Maintain good working relationship with lead, manager, associates, agents, and public and contributes to a cooperative work environment. 

What you need to have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel)
  • Strong quantitative skills i.e. add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions

What makes you stand out:

  • 1+ year of multi-line, multi-state, commercial insurance experience
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to keyboard by touch at 50 wpm or better
  • Excellent Customer Service orientation to project a warm and friendly manner in all business contacts and maintain a professional relationship with fellow workers, agency contacts, and the general public
