Preconstruction Estimator (MEP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in project plans to prepare comprehensive bid proposals for commercial pool, fountain, and landscape construction projects.
- Develop and present detailed MEP cost estimates.
- Ensure the latest and accurate pricing information from MEP suppliers and subcontractors.
- Use specialized MEP estimation software to create and present proposals.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all professional interactions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in MEP estimation and project management
- Knowledge of HCSS software is beneficial.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field. Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Strong work ethic, outstanding communication skills, and adeptness at managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in customer service; bilingual abilities (Spanish) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in On-Screen Take-Off, HCSS, Bluebeam or Procore software is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
