Job Title: Preconstruction Coordinator
Department: Preconstruction
Supervisor: Director of Preconstruction
Summary
The Preconstruction Manager handles all aspects of coordinating preconstruction activity on jobs assigned to them. Responsible for subcontractor solicitation, quantity take off, subcontractor quote review, estimate assembly, presentation of estimates to clients/prospects, work with designers throughout design period to evaluate budget and constructability on negotiated projects.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement at i2 Construction’s discretion. A hybrid work arrangement may be approved or withdrawn by the company at any time
Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role with a commercial General Contractor
Excellent attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Negotiated projects, Conceptual estimates, Division 1 – 16, Assemble bid-tabs, Hard-bid estimates, Alternates, Excel Estimates, GMP Estimates and Project Interviews with prospects.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field preferred but not required
