Precertification Coordinator

To get the most important thing out of the way first, we start the position at $15 to $18 an hour. (this varies depending on knowledge and experience) May not sound like much at first, but did we mention there is room for advancement in both pay and position. We have high expectations for our staff and believe in giving our patients the highest standard of care. With hard work and dedication to you are able to earn more money as well as more responsibility. We pride ourselves in employing hardworking, self-driven and reliable people. We also like to brag on the fact that we promote within. To be honest the reason we have the opening to fill is due to one of our pre-cert representatives was promoted to our billing team.

More of the deets:
1. The work is fast paced and rewarding. You will be working directly with our physicians and patients each day.
2. Did we mention that we are a fast-paced clinic.
3. The hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and we cut out at 4pm on Fridays. The hours are set in stone, but we do take time to focus on coming together as a team and strengthening the bond and foundation. Don't worry, having skill in top golf, life size jenga or escape rooms is not a requirement but will help your team.

Now, requirements of the position:
1. You need to be the type of person who gets joy out of getting things done. Every day, you will be responsible for a number of things. Important things. Necessary things.
2. Verify benefits and eligibility for all patients.
3. You will on the computer and phone a lot. You will need to be comfortable with talking to people and as well as navigating the EMR system and phone.
4. You need to be a person who loves to deliver exceptional patient care. You need to be someone who feels good by making others feel good.
5. You need to nail down the details. You don’t need to race through work and get things done halfway (we figured that part out for you already). Getting things done correctly is more important that getting them done in a hurry.

6. Submit and request for insurance authorization for all in house and outpatient procedures.
7. We want you to be diligent in your work. We are looking for a dependable, fun person with integrity who gets stuff done.
