Job Title:              Precast Detailer

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the development of production shop tickets, shop drawing details, and the assembly of drawings for Architectural precast concrete systems using Revit (BIM). Additional responsibilities include, producing erection drawings, production tickets, hardware drawings and working with management to ensure the details and drawings have been completed correctly so that the product is built to specifications; interacting with Engineers, Sales, Production, and QC to ensure product requirements are met is essential.
Required Skills/Abilities:

• Drafting experience and the ability to illustrate and dimension drawings
• Experience using Autodesk products including AutoCAD and Revit BIM.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to GATE Precast standards as needed
• Willingness and ability to work as a team player
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Ability to read Working Drawings/Contract Documents
• Must be detailed oriented
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience in similar concrete related industry desired

Education Requirements

• Associate's degree in the related field
• Must be able to work occasional overtime

Physical Requirements

• Sitting/standing for prolonged periods (some employees stand at their desk)

• Keyboarding
• Mainly an office position; but will require some time outdoors and in a production environment.
• Must be able to wear PPE while in production environment which includes, steel toe ankle laced work boots, hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses and hi-vis vest
