PRE-TRIAL AND PRE-SENTENCE SERVICES PROGRAM
POSITION TITLE: PRE-TRIAL SERVICES PSA ASSESSMENT OFFICER
The Court of Common Pleas, General Division, is seeking an individual to serve as a Pre-Trial Services PSA Assessment Officer for the Pre-Trial and Pre-Sentence Services Program. Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Trial and Pre-Sentence Services Program Director and the indirect supervision of the Deputy Court Administrator. The PSA Assessment Officer is responsible for gathering, processing and evaluating the information necessary to aid in the completion of the Public Safety Assessment which assists in the decision of determining an arrestee’s release and or detention. Other duties include contacting victims, reviewing bond, monitoring arrest dates and bookings, maintaining statistics and submitting reports. This position is a Sunday through Thursday full time position.
Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year accredited college or university, preferably with a major in criminal justice, social services or a related field.
At least one (1) year experience in criminal justice or social services is preferred. Must be proficient in the use of the computer.
