SalaryReston Montessori School (RMS), Reston’s oldest Montessori School, is seeking a new team member to join our Pre-Primary Program as a Child Care Teacher. This position involves providing support to a lead teacher, planning daily afternoon activities and overseeing a classroom of students aged 18 months-3 years. The Child Care Teacher will assist with classroom activities throughout the day, and be responsible for the implementation of the afternoon curriculum.
The ideal candidate will be kind, patient, flexible, work well within a team and strive for excellence. Required qualifications include at least two years experience in a classroom setting, creativity with preparing class activities. Working in a Montessori environment would be a plus.
