Pre-Op/PACU RN

We are hiring 2 Registered Nurses in the PreOp and PostOp Eye Clinic. Looking for someone passionate to work in the Operating Room setting!

Pre-Op/PACU RN

• Rotating between Pre-Op and PACU duties
• Pre-Op duties: bringing patients back, go through questionnaire (It's a paper-based site, lots of physical patient paperwork), starting IVs, health checks
• PACU duties: recovering the patient, waking them up, giving medications, taking out IVs, ensuring the patient is moving around safely, counting drugs at the end of the day, communication between patient and their transportation (friend, family member, etc.)

OR RN

• Aide the surgeon in the operating room
• It is an eye center, they do plastics, retina, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.
• Case volume varies depending on the types of cases some days they will see 10-12 cases/day and other days it's as many as 40 cases/day

Schedule:

• Mon-Thurs 6:45/7am start and done around 4pm every day, no later than 5pm
• (getting around 34-38 hours/week)
• AND then they will work one Friday a month (the 2nd Friday of the month each month) - that week they would go slightly over 40 hours

Pay:

• $36-48/hour
• 8-10 years of experience is ~44.28

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

• ID RN license
• 1+ years experience in Pre-Op, PACU, ICU, Medsurg, or ER experience (for Pre-Op/PACU opening)
• 1+ years experience in the OR (for OR opening)

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience in an eye center

• Team oriented, sees the bigger picture
• Someone who is thick-skinned and can work fast
• Self-starter (doesn't need to be told what to do)
