Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is hiring for Pre-OpRegistered Nurses II in the Operating Room Department.Registered Nurse II's at ARMC practice at a high-level of professional autonomy in a fast-paced teaching environment. Typical duties include assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, as well as administering medications and treatments, performing documentation, and educating patients and families on their healthcare options.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Availability:Twenty-four (24) hour responsibility, on-call and call-back may be required.
Certifications: Additional certifications may be required depending on the needs of the department.

Vaccination Requirement: Per the December 24, 2021 updated CA State Public Health Officer Order, all workers who provide services or work in facilities described in subdivision (a) of the order, including clinics and doctor offices, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, CDPH Public Health Officer Orders updated on February 22, 2022 requires all workers in health care settings currently eligible for boosters, who provide services or work in the impacted facilities must be “fully vaccinated and boosted” for COVID-19 by March 1, 2022. Vaccination Exemptions: Upon hire, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination including the booster dose or request an exemption from the vaccination and booster requirements based on either religious belief or medical reasons.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must possess all of the following:
License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Experience: One (1) year of full-time experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
Certification: Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and certifications/courses required by specialty assignment.
Desired Qualifications
Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing are desired.
