We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-op LVN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician
- Assist in the positioning of patients for surgery
- Assist in the transfer of patients to and from the operating room
- Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available for the surgical team
- Document all patient care activities in the medical record
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Current LVN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-op nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
