Pre-Med gap year students

Family Practice on Main Line seeking students in health career majors for medical assistant/scribe positions for gap year rotations. . This is a part-time position 25-30 hours per week ability to pick up additional hours if interested Monday-Fridays, no weekends. In this position you will round with medical providers and other students in nursing communities round in office with patients, document clinical information into EMR system ,learn documentation processes, provide updates to patients and families, learn how to interpret lab values, refill medications and learn how to do history and physical along with other valuable learning processes. Must have excellent computer and communication skills. No other clinical experience is required. Training will begin June for rotation. Applications will end being accepted April 1st. Must have transportation to go to nursing communities with team.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
