Pre-Lit Attorney

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, conducting legal research and meeting with clients.
Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients and guide them through the case process
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
• Draft legal documents including contracts, briefs, and pleadings
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Negotiate on behalf of clients
• Provide legal administrative support as needed

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar association
• Proven experience in legal drafting, research, and litigation
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw research platforms
• Experience in negotiating settlements
• Proficiency in legal administrative tasks
• Excellent communication skills
