LabOperationsSupervisor

Responsibilities:
- Assist in troubleshooting issues with patient samples; communicate internally and externally.
- Assess workflow processes, order tests, and drive continuous improvements
- Complete employee assessments and performance reviews
- Identify all CAP, CLIA and HIPPA required information. Identify missing information and proceed accordingly
- Assist staff in skill development as needed
- Trains or supervises training of other staff members
- Conduct regular staff meetings and use other formal and informal communication methods to facilitate group communication as well as inform subordinates on relevant matters including company business and policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Quality department ensuring QMS standards are met; implement improvements as necessary
- Responsible for adherence to annual Safety, Compliance, and HIPPA training
- Notify management of any present or potential issues related to quality of service, processes, or compliance
Requirements and Desired Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent, required. Some college coursework with healthcare focus preferred.
- 2 years of leadership experience
- 2 years laboratory experience required
- Strong organizational skills; able to multitask
- Able to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
- Able to work independently and complete work accurately in a timely manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in MS Office Suite, required.
Compensation: $60k - $65k annual salary
