The People and Performance (P&P) Generalist works collaboratively with internal leaders on new people initiatives, employee relations, and recruitment. The P&P Generalist interacts with employees and managers within the full employee life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Work with employees and managers through the employee life cycle
- Manage data and processes in relation to new hires, terminations, and employee changes in multiple systems for payroll, benefits, accounting, etc.
- Create recruitment plan and calendar according to needs of business workplace staffing plan
- Candidate sourcing and selection; determine qualifications and make appropriate hiring choices
- Onboard new hires: engage to workplace, review HR related processes, benefit selections, team introduction, check in and survey for satisfaction and engagement
- Complete routine payroll and timekeeping. Answer payroll and benefit related questions
- Work with management to address performance related issues, guide managers to appropriate solutions within guidelines set through regulatory agencies and company policy
- Complete regulatory reporting as required
- Assist management with benefit selection and analysis
- Administer onboarding, benefit, payroll, training and development, and compensation programming
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in business or management; and 2-3 years of HR related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Work well with others
- Good communication skills both written and oral, and ability to work collaboratively

- Flexibility and ability to multitask and time manage effectively
