Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts department and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts procurement, storage, and distribution processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including receipts, returns, and inventory adjustments.
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify parts needs and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Monitor and analyze parts usage data to identify trends and make recommendations for inventory optimization.
- Maintain a computerized maintenance management system (Lightspeed) to track parts usage, maintenance schedules, and equipment repair history.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts orders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field (preferred) OR equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in parts management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of systems used in parts management, Lightspeed computer program knowledge a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Familiarity with motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's and personal watercraft, is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding pricing, inventory levels, and supplier management.
