Form of workn industry-leading provider of intermodal rail terminal services, auto loading and unloading and container depot services seeks a Power BI Analyst . This position can be worked remote.
The Power BI Analyst is a key member of the operations leadership team supporting timely decision-making to improve business performance. In this position you will report to the General Manager - Network Operations. This role requires heavily interact with business field management teams to compile, prepare and analyze key performance indicators. The Power BI Analyst drives proactive analysis of operational data and performance to support weekly and monthly business unit evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer, quantitative as well communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Manage, build, and distribute weekly business-unit key performance metrics (KPI) packages
- Interface with business unit leaders to develop weekly levers and drivers
- nalyze KPI for business units to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
- Oversee the maintenance of a derived set of standardized and documented analyst tablesad-hoc and other reporting .
- Business process and systems implementation experience
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or an analytical discipline such as Finance, Operations Research, Statistics, or Math
- Strong analytical skills (advanced Excel, PowerBI and NetSuite a plus, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong data visualization and data engineering
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills
- SAS, SQL, Microsoft Power BI Azure, Python, nice to have
- Transportation/Logistics knowledge a plus
