Job Description
Developmental Pathways (DP) is seeking a Power Platform Developer II in our Information Technology (IT) department. The Power Platform Developer IIwill work in collaboration with the data and development team and will be responsible for the development, implementation, performance, integrity, and security of solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform. This role will be involved in the planning and development of applications/solutions, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users to ensure the user experience remains consistent across applications and in a form that suits the needs of end users. The Power Platform Developer II will also be responsible for data security and recovery, ensuring all data is retrievable in an emergency andfor documenting workflow and processes.
This will be a 40-hour week, hybrid position, working primarily remotely, and coming into our office in Aurora, CO, and/or other off-site locations, as needed.
Please note this is not a remote position, you must be in or willing to relocate to Colorado.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field and four (4) years related experience, OR
Associates degree in a computer-related field and five (5) to six (6) years related technical work experience, OR
Seven (7) years related technical work experience
4+ years of experience in developing business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Transact-SQL, and database design
Strong UI design skills and the ability to create visually appealing interfaces that are easy to use and navigate
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and testing skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript or PowerShell
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with Azure DevOps
Microsoft Power Platform certification
Additional Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Possess good UI design skills and create visually appealing interfaces that are easy to use and navigate
Configure and customize data models, forms, workflows, and reports to meet business needs
Develop and maintain dashboards, including designing visuals and metrics, data visualization, and analytics to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement
Develop and maintain SQL Server databases and T-SQL queries for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Power Platform applications and SQL Server
Identify, develop, and deploy reports in Power BI & integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps
Gather and document user requirements and identify new features; translate business/user requirements into application design. Documentation will require a great level of detail so that other staff members may follow along, even with little technical background
Serve as a liaison to other agency departments and outside entities in a positive manner; able to effectively communicate and work with a large cross-section of stakeholders
Participate in database design to support application development projects
Analyze and troubleshoot query performance and take corrective actions to solve issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
Create, test, and debug complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development
Participate in code reviews and tech design reviews
