Power Platform Developer

Must be local and come onsite 1 day every two weeks. No Exceptions!
We are looking for Microsoft Power Platform Developer who will be responsible for development, design, testing of enterprise level projects. Considered to be an expert in advanced technologies.
The candidate must be a strong Microsoft Power Platform Developer to assist the IT with its overall goal of "Working together to organize and mobilize residents, merchants and professionals to improve the quality of life for all who live, work, and visit the nation's capital" This is an opportunity for a developer with keen interests in emerging technologies to bring their skills and creative thinking to building applications to empower MPD to continue to support the residents, businesses, and visitors with a safe and enjoyable experience in our nations capital.
Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer, with a focus on Model-driven applications.
• In-depth knowledge of Power Pages / Portal development.
• Proficiency in creating, customizing, and optimizing Power Apps solutions.
• Strong understanding of data integration, manipulation, and visualization using Power BI.
• Ability to automate business processes using Power Automate.
• Experience in optimizing Canvas Apps for performance and responsiveness.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Dataverse and its integration within Power Apps.
• In-depth knowledge of Power Platform administration, including environment management and security configuration.

• .NET: 4+ Years
• MS SQL Developer hands on experience: 3+ years
• JSON Data Processing: 1+ year
• JavaScript: 5+ Years
• jQuery and Ajax: 3+ years
• Azure Devops, Git or similar tools– 1 years + experience

Skills:

• 1-5 yrs leading advanced technology projects or service projects
• 1-5 yrs full system engineering lifecycle
• 1-5 yrs creating implementation/integration plans, test plans and training materials
• 1-5 yrs hands on experience in specific product or IT platform
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Industry certification/Training in specific IT product/platform or service
• 2 yrs Development using Power Pages
• 3 yrs Dataverse
• 3 yrs Model Driven Apps
• 3 yrs Canvas
• 4 yrs .NET
• 3 yrs MS SQL Developer hands on experience
• 1 yr JSON Data Processing
