Power Bi Report Writer

As a Power BI Report Writer, you will play a critical role in supporting our leaders with accurate data to help support our business decision-making. This position ensures data accuracy and integrity in reports by conducting thorough data analysis and validation. This position is part-time (about 20 hours a week) and remote yet requires virtual time with the business leaders to ensure the right data metrics are being populated. 
 Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making in the healthcare sector.
• Implement data modeling, visualization, and reporting techniques to effectively present complex data in a user-friendly manner.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports by conducting thorough data analysis and validation.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in PowerBI and healthcare data analytics.
• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders in using PowerBI reports and dashboards.

• Proven experience as a PowerBI Report Writer, within the healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of PowerQuery, DAX, and Row-Level Security functionality within PowerBI
• An eye for creating visually appealing reports with controls and filters that are intuitive. (UI and UX)
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
• Experience with using Azure SQL datasets to populate PowerBI reports.
