Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Powder Coater is involved with the manufacture of electrical and mechanical assemblies,
involved with the manufacture of pump stations and related systems. The Powder Coater works
from engineering blueprints and mechanical schematics, component specification documents,
and other technical documents used for manufacturing. The Powder Coater takes direction from
the Production Supervisor, and assists with process improvements. Individuals work to a
timeline on multiple projects / orders simultaneously. Typically requires 5+ years of experience.
Essential duties and Key responsibilities may include:
Set Up parts / Preparation for Powder Coating Process.
Operate Powder Coating equipment including booth, hoppers, guns, etc.
Oven operations, understanding baking parts process to the appropriate temperature.
Quality checks procedures in parts to assure powder coating product quality.
Material handling using forklift, Powered Cart Movers, hoist cranes.
Ensure quality standards for Powder Coat raw material storage.
Actively participating within a team of manufacturing personnel, contributing to the goal of
meeting production deadlines.
Work autonomously or as a team member to build Pump Stations and other products.
Procure and maintain necessary supplies to support production activities.
Identify and implement manufacturing process improvement for quality, delivery performance and
Safety.
Troubleshoot and correct Powder Coat pump stations parts and process malfunctions as needed.
Manage multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and in a timely manner.
Install new manufacturing equipment as needed in order to improve productivity and quality.
Assist in developing manufacturing procedures and productivity reports as defined by the
Manufacturing Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Willingness to perform hands-on production line assembly activity.
Ability to read engineering blueprints.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and measurement equipment, including calipers, tape
measures, and compound squares
Must have good manual dexterity, sheet metal working skills are a bonus.
Basic understanding of engineering concepts (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word
High School Diploma

Powder Coating training or Certifications
Strong background in Powder Coating process
Applied knowledge of industry safety practices and OSHA practices.
Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
