Do you like working with your hands? Are you a go-getter with experience in production, and working with machines? Atlas Staffing is hiring a Powder Coat Tech for a great company in the manufacturing industry! This is a full-time, temp to hire position with opportunity for advancement.
Powder Coat Tech Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to achieve quality, productivity, and company commit dates.
- Follow work instructions and prints to identify show surfaces and quality call outs.
- Inspect parts for damage.
- Hang parts on a steel rack and conveyor line for painting
- Operate spray booth and manual spray guns. (Auto line and batch booth)
- Ensure correct paint is being used per BOM.
- Perform quality checks, after cure to ensure parts are cured correctly
- Maintains safe and clean work environment, be complying with the company’s 5’s procedures.
Powder Coat Tech Requirements:
- Ability work independently and be a self-starter
- Dynamic standing for 8-10 hours per day
- Previous production/painting experience
- Positive attitude
- Great work ethic
- Outstanding record of attendance.
- Consistent work history
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
Wage: $18.00/hour
