Pouching Operator

Accredo Packaging, Inc. manufactures and supplies sustainable, high value added, flexible packaging, predominantly for the pre-packaged foods and consumer products markets in North America. We create state of the art, environmentally responsible, flexible packaging conversions by combining the best people in the industry with the latest available technologies. We are currently seeking a Pouching Operator to join our team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Receives and thoroughly reviews and understands the Pouching job jackets, job specifications, and customer requirements.
• Performs Pouching job setup/changeover and operates/troubleshoots following all Accredo procedures and safety measures.
• Reports/corrects nonconforming issues, records/tracks production output and scrap and reports runtime vs. downtime.
• Coordinate with Pouching packers and team to visually inspects and tests film for quality defects.
• Checks all tools and equipment at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure good housekeeping is maintained.

Qualifications:
• Education: High school graduated
• Experience: manufacturing operation experience preferred
• Skills: ability to read, write and speak English; computer experience; able to operate basic machine tool and measuring device

Physical Demands:
Able to lift 50 lbs.
