Job Title: Pouching Operator
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Job Summary: As a Pouch Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, responsible for operating and maintaining pouch-making machinery. You will work in a fast-paced environment and ensure that pouches are produced efficiently, meeting quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor pouch-making machinery to ensure the production of high-quality pouches.
- Set up machines based on product specifications, including pouch size, materials, and printing requirements.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished pouches for quality, identifying and addressing defects as necessary.
- Load and unload raw materials, including film rolls and inks.
- Monitor production output, making necessary adjustments to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and regulations.
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and achieve efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining pouch-making machinery or similar equipment is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production goals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface operation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if necessary.

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
